Undo / Redo buttons

Synchronos manages undo / redo on the rythmo actions.

The left button cancels the last action. It is possible to cancel up to 10 shares back.

The right button restores the cancelled shares. It is possible to restore 10 shares.

For these two buttons, it is possible to cancel (or restore) several actions simultaneously by pressing the small arrow to the right of each button.

Planes buttons and others

The toolbar contains all the buttons to add the transition (plans, melted, loops...) video clips

The first button adds a Start on the rythmo. It is not possible to add multiple start in a project.
If you want to move it, you already remove it and then create the new.

The second button adds a PI (first image) on the rythmo. As the start, you can add only a single IP per project.

The third button adds a Synchro point. These markers to identify highlights video. These can be used to resynchronize the rythmo and video video changes.

The fourth button adds an out on the rythmo. This symbol indicates the end of a loop.

The fifth button adds a loop on the rythmo. Loop is the unit of work in Synchronos and dubbing world.

The sixth button adds a scene on the rythmo. Scenes are used in some post synchronization.

The seventh button adds a plan on the rythmo. A plan is a break in the video capture. Same scene taken with another camera or another scene.

The eighth button adds a timecode plan. This is exactly the same symbol as the plan but in addition it contains a timecode.

The ninth button adds a Fade In. This is a video fade black to the image.

The tenth button adds a Fade Out. This is the image fades to black.

And finally the eleventh button is a fade. It's a blending of images between two different planes.

Delete a transition element

If you want to delete a plan, a loop (or any other type of item), position it on the red bar playback and press the eraser.

Plans detection

Synchronos includes automatic plan detection.

Clicking the button opens an interface. Click the "Start" button and the program scans from the video for the plans.

Once completed, an interface displays the result.

You can choose between three realized detections.
Choose the one which suits you best and plans will be added to your project.

Add a quicklist

Since Synchronos 5, it is possible to add some quicklists on the rythmo.

On quicklist you will have a short annotation on a scene or a replica.

For an add one, just click on this button.

Go quickly to a transition

In the toolbar, you can quickly go to the Start, a loop or a scene.

To go to the Start, simply click on the button "St"

Then the first list contains all the loops of the project.
To get there, just select it.

In the first line of this list you will find "N 1st loop" label. By clicking on this line, you can set the number of the first loop in your project.

The second list contains all of the scenes of your project.

Loop meter

This gauge allows the person causing loops to provide information or it's relative to the beginning of the loop.

In order to avoid too long (or too short) loops, meter show with a gradient ranging from green to red the time of its loop.
If the meter is in red, it indicates that a new loop should be created.

Calibration of the meter is possible in the software settings.

Saved timecodes

Synchronos lets you memorize 2 timecode.

To memorize these video, click the button "+ TC" to return to this timecode, click saved timecode.

Find / Replace

As in many software programs text in Synchronos, it is possible to search for text.

For a text search, click on the binoculars.
An interface you asks the search word, specify on which layer you want to perform your search, and post.
A list will display all texts that are containing the search word.
Double click on the line that you want to go there directly in the rythmo.

To replace text, click the second button.
Enter search text replacement text then.
You must specify on which track you want your replacement.
If you click the button "Next", the software take you directly to the search text.
Just click the "Replace" button to replace one that you are viewing.
You can also replace all text on the button "Replace all"
